Nici Peper and Justin Arnold - Live Original Music

Nici:
Nici Peper is a rootsy, americana/ folk singer-songwriter based in Minneapolis, MN who is influenced by the tradition of classic storytellers. Her voice has been described as vintage and soulful, and her lyrics are open and honest. She writes of love, heartbreak and her dreams; exposing her inner soul to the world within her lyrics and music.

Peper has opened for Brett Michaels, Elvis Monroe, GB Leighton, Dan Navarro, and more. She has recorded in Nashville, toured Alaska, the Ozarks and the Midwest, has been on Twin Cities Live, Fox 9, Box of Chocolates, and done numerous radio interviews, including "Voices in the Valley" and "Northern Spirit Radio". Peper has played every type of show from the main stage of the Girdwood Forest Fair in Girdwood, Alaska, to Two Wheels on the Pig Trail at a biker/blues/BBQ festival in Eureka Springs, AR, to The Warming House, the listening room of Minneapolis, MN to Deronda Lutheran Church on Easter morning . In 2016, Nici took home the title of Minneapolis’ "Most Authentic Artist" in the contest sponsored by Wholly Guacamole and was one of 6 finalists nationwide. She currently hosts an open mic Tuesday evenings and a songwriter showcase with the Soiled Doves, plays shows, drives a lot (like, a lot.) and is working on her first solo album which is due in the fall of 2017.

Justin:
Drawing inspiration from his own life, in addition to the struggles and triumphs of others, Justin has been influenced by the likes of Joe Purdy, Ben Harper, Waylon Jennings, Otis Redding and David Ruffin.

While the topics of love, faith and death are not new, Justin’s approach is signature in that his voice offers you every emotion he experienced in his writing process. His songs reveal a soul laden with pain, but redeemed by music.
